Natalie PA
i stopped by the Fire Co. in Natalie the other day, and they are better than mid-way though their summer dart league.
there are four teams in the league. the season is broken into two halves, with the winner of each half playing against each other at the end of the season in the playoffs. and, it looks like there is a playoff brewing this season because the team that won the first half isn't leading during the second half.
if one team wins both halves, they are simply crowned the (uncontested) champions.
i know most, if not all of the shooters in the league, and their averages range from probably low 40's to high teens. so, everyone is welcome regardless of skill level. that, makes for a fun night out during the week.
like most dart leagues i've been a part of, there is a dutch crock pot of food put out for every match. so it's as much a gathering of friends as it is a competitive darting night. of course after the league game is done some of the more serious players will stay after and match their skills against each other.
overall though, it's a good time, and a great way for the Fire Company to have a few members contribute through the social quarters.
