PA States time again

the big "no caps" tourney is upon us again. States starts this weekend! here's a note i got as a reminder . . .

The 42nd PA State Dart Tournament begins this Sunday! I have been informed that the morning bracket only has one spot left in it.
There are still a few more chances to get into the afternoon bracket on Sunday so contact Joe soon to enter at

i just caught that there's one more final bracket for qualifying this weekend. so, if i'm doing the math right, they ran two brackets on opening day, one last week, and one this upcoming weekend.

that's a far cry from the glory days of the State Dart Tournament when it was held at the VFW in Freeland. there used to be hundreds of teams competing, and dart boards stuck in every nook and cranny of the building.

now, are we really looking at 64 teams tops?? for the whole tourney?
