2010 PA State Dart Tournament | |||||
The schedule for the 42nd Annual PA State Dart Tournament has been released. This year there will be three qualifying dates beginning at the end of January, followed by the finals on Feb. 27th. The event is being held at the Treskow Fire Co. again this year, which is near Hazleton. Teams are three of four men. There are three shooters per game, and each team can bring an alternate if they wish. Qualifier dates have a morning bracket of 16 teams and an afternoon bracket of 16 teams. Each bracket plays a double-elimination format. The teams with one loss advance to the finals in the loser's bracket. The undefeated teams advance into the finals in the winner's bracket. There is no handicapping for the State Dart Tournament. The game being played is baseball. This year the tournament is a "Bring Your Own Darts" event. Darts will be available for purchase on site.
